Khadak Singh Khatrichetri, a former shareholder and employee of Himal Food Ltd, the company behind The Everest Nepalese & Indian Restaurant, located at 18–20 Long St, Dursley, GL11 4HX, has launched legal proceedings through the UK Small Claims Court to recover outstanding payments totaling £8,400.
Court documents show Mr. Khatrichetri is claiming £3,000 for the transfer of his 10% shareholding in the company, completed in March 2025, along with £2,700 in unpaid holiday pay and a further £2,700 relating to notice pay following dismissal.
Despite attempts to resolve the matter amicably, no payment has been made to date. Mr. Pirthaviraj Rawal, representative of Himal Food Ltd and manager of The Everest Nepalese & Indian Restaurant, has not yet provided any public comment on the case.
